Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test - HTET 2018
Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test commonly known as HTET is a State level entrance examination conducted by the Education Department of Haryana for the recruitment of teachers in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8 within the state of Haryana.
- Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5
- Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to Class 8
HTET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
For Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I):Candidate should have successfully completed their class 12/Senior Secondary or other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised board/university. They must also have a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education / four years B.El.Ed / two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education.
OR
Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation (in any discipline) or are in their final year of two Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible to apply for HTET 2018.
For Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II):Candidate should have successfully completed their Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com etc.) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. They must also have a two-year D.Ed./ B.Ed. OR 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
Candidates appearing for their graduation or two-year D.Ed./ B.Ed. OR 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) are also eligible to apply.
For Lecturers of Class XI-XII:Candidate should have successfully completed their Post Graduate (PG) Degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. Candidate should have done their Matric/ class 10/ class 12/ Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the Subjects.
HTET 2017 Important Dates
- Start of HTET 2017 Online application form: 1st November 2017
- Last date for submission of online application form: 13th Nov 2017
- Correction in Application form: 11 & 12th November 2017
- Issue of HTET 2017 Admit Card: 15th December 2017
- HTET Level I (PRT) Entrance Exam Date: 24th December 2017
- HTET Level II (TGT) Entrance Exam Date: 24th December 2017
- HTET Level III (PGT) Entrance Exam Date: 23rd December 2017

How to Apply for HTET 2017:
- Firstly Log in to the official website
- Find the link of HTET online application submission
- Click on apply online and fill the required details carefully
- Upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature
- Click on the submit button and save the application form for future use
- Finally get a printout of the filled application form
HTET 2017 Application Fees
- SC and PH Candidates of Haryana Domicile
- For One Level Only: Rs. 500
- For Two Levels: Rs. 900
- For Three Levels: Rs. 1200
- For All Candidates except SC and PH Candidates of Haryana Domicile
- For One Level Only: Rs. 1000
- For Two Levels: Rs. 1800
- For Three Levels: Rs. 2400
- All Candidates outside Haryana (including SC/PH)
- For One Level Only: Rs. 1000
- For Two Levels: Rs. 1800
- For Three Levels: Rs. 2400
