Kurukshetra University Law Entrance Exam

Kurukshetra University conducts entrance exams in order to offer admission to aspirants in various programmes offered at different Departments of the university. The KUK entrance exam for law courses is conducted for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes at the varsity offered at the Law Department. The Law Department at Kurukshetra University is further divided into Institute of Law and Department of Law.

Law Programmes offered at Kurukshetra University are as follows:

    Course: BA LLB (Hons)
    Duration: 5 years integrated course

  2. Department: Department of Law
    Course: LLB (Professional)
    Duration: 3 Years

  3. Department: Department of Law
    Course: LLM
    Duration: 2 years

KUK Law Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidate should have atleast 45% aggregate (42.75% for candidates belonging to reserved category) marks in their class 12/Senior Secondary Certificate or other equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.

  2. Candidates who have done their 10+2 from an Open University directly without possessing any basic qualification (that is, Matric/ Secondary) are not eligible to apply for for BA LLB Course.

  3. Candidates who will appear in their 10+2 level exam in  are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their pass certificate at the time of counselling.

  4. Candidates who have got a compartment in the qualifying exam are not eligible to apply for the course.

  2. Uttar Madhyama & Purva Madhyama of MDU Rohtak (Gurukul Jhajjar Scheme)
  3. Board of  Adult Education and Training/Board Shiksha Sansthan, New Delhi
  4. Any Diploma/Exams. of Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh
  5. Bhartiya  Siksha Prishad, Lucknow
  6. Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi
  7. Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, Allahabad (U.P.)
  8. Indian  Education Council of UP, Lucknow

KUK Law Entrance Exam Application Process

  1. Candidates are required to fill their Kurukshetra University Entrance Exam application form by visiting the official website of the varsity.

  2. The aspirants need to fill in their personal details, educational qualifications as well as contact information.

KUK Law Entrance Exam Exam Pattern

Kurukshetra University Law Entrance exam is conducted in two rounds comprising of the Entrance Exam & Interview Round.

Entrance Exam
The question paper consist of multiple choice questions which aspirants need to attempt by encircling the correct answer on an OMR sheet with a ball point pen.

Interview
Candidates are shortlisted for the interview on the basis of the marks obtained in their entrance test. The list of shortlisted candidates shall be displayed on the Notice Board of the Institute and also on the University website. No separate communications will be sent for Interview.

KUK Admission Counselling
Aspirants are required to appear for the counselling process with all the original certificates/documents/testimonials as mentioned in Prospectus before the Admission Committee for verification.

 The Admission Committee will check the eligibility of the candidate and in case the candidate is found not eligible his/her candidature will be cancelled.  The final admission Slip will be issued only to the candidates who have been found eligible by the Admission Committee.
