State University of Performing and Visual Arts is located at Rohtak in the State of Haryana. The university was established with the objective to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of Design, Fine Arts, Urban Planning and Architecture and Film & Television.

The State University of Performing and Visual Arts Entrance Test is conducted for those aspiring candidates who has not cleared the All India Level exams such as FTII, CEED, NEET, CEPT, NID, NSD, SRFTI, etc. The test is conducted in three stages-

  2. Creative Aptitude Test
  3. Skill Test

State University of Performing and Visual Arts Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have successfully completed their 10+2 or other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates of Haryana only) from a recognised board or University.

  2. Candidates who have successfully cleared the All India Level exams such as FTII, CEED, NEET, CEPT, NID, NSD, SRFTI, etc. are not required to clear the Qualifying Test (QT) organised by SUPVA. They can directly appear in the Creative Aptitude and Skill Test after his/her online registration for admission.

State University of Performing and Visual Arts Admission Process

  1. Candidates can download the application form online by visiting the official website www.supva.ac.in

  2. Candidates are required to register for the SUPVA Qualifying Test (QT) online by paying an amount of Rs. 100

  3. After the successful completion of the registration process, the candidates may take up online mock test (MT) and prepare for Qualifying Test (QT).

  4. Candidates will be given two chances to attempt for the online Qualifying Test (QT).

  5. The list of the qualifying candidates will be displayed on the SUPVA official website.

  6. The Qualifying candidates are further required to register for Creative Aptitude and Skill Test by paying the application fees.

  7. The final selection of candidates are made on the basis of their performance in the Creative Aptitude and Skill Test. Hence the declaration of result will be made on the university website.

Candidates are required to choose any two pieces of Monologues/Speech of their choice to enact or demonstrate. They may also be asked to perform or demonstrate any form of music and dance.

Test Details:
  1. Candidates are required to draw given objects from different angles
  2. They need to draw and colour from memory on a given situation.
  3. 3D Model making on given situation by using the given materials

Candidates are required to appear for a written test on Visual Imagination and creative writing

Visual Arts Department
Skill Test:

Test Details:

Candidates are required to draw two to three objects with light and shade with pencil or charcoal on a half imperial size paper composition from , memory on a given subject in water, poster, pastel on a half imperial size paper

The minimum qualifying marks is 40 OUT OF 100.

The selection of the candidates are based on the following -
  • 10 plus 2 or other equivalent examination: 20% Weightage
  • Creative Aptitude Test: 30% Weightage
  • Skill Test: 30% Weightage
